You know him from “Loveline” — both in its MTV and radio formats — as well as his “Celebrity Rehab” series on VH1. And now you can own his Manhattan home.
Celeb physician Dr. Drew, otherwise known as Drew Pinsky, is listing his Upper West Side penthouse for $1.59 million, Gimme Shelter has learned. This move comes more than four years after Pinsky and his wife, Susan, began renting out the 215 W. 95th St. condo with a $5,900-per-month asking price, as we reported at the time.
The Pinskys have owned this two-bedroom, two-bathroom spread for some 10 years, purchasing it for $1.45 million. A pied-à-terre, they bought it to be closer to their daughter, Paulina, while she attended Barnard College just more than a mile away from this unit. (She later attended Columbia University, right across Broadway from Barnard, for graduate school.)
Apart from home purchases and his family life, you may also know Pinsky from other media-world projects including “Teen Mom” reunions and the “Dr. Drew After Dark” podcast. He’ll also be part of the forthcoming “Special Forces: The Ultimate Test” series airing on Fox this coming January.
Though the Pinskys are listing this apartment for sale, they’ll still keep a residence in Manhattan. Based in California, they’ll also keep homes in Pasadena — their primary perch — and Laguna Beach. During their ownership of this 95th Street lair, Susan Pinsky refurbished it.
The 1,086-square-foot spread — in neutral tones with maple wood touches — is smart-wired with Crestron home automation and Sonos surround sound. Both bedrooms have built-in storage and flat-screen TVs flush-mounted to the wall, while the marble-clad baths boast glass-enclosed showers.
